FIBRAIN Sp. z o.o. is implementing a research and development project aimed at creating an interoperable subscriber terminal based on XGS-PON technology, capable of delivering 10 Gbit/s data transfer via fiber optic cable directly to the end user’s home. The proposed solution will feature a power supply based on USB-C communication technology.
Through this project, FIBRAIN seeks to address several key challenges and market demands, including: the growing need for high-speed broadband Internet access; support for the rollout of 5G and future network technologies; the standardization of power supply via USB-C; rising demand for cloud and streaming services; efficient data exchange in business-to-business (B2B) environments; operator network expansion; long-term profitability and infrastructure modernization; and alignment with environmentally sustainable (green) trends.
