PGZ and FIBRAIN have signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the field of modern technologies for security and defence

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and FIBRAIN have signed a letter of intent setting out areas of potential cooperation in the development of modern technologies for the defence and security sector.

The agreement paves the way for joint work on solutions utilising fibre-optic and sensor technologies, as well as on solutions designed for unmanned systems. The parties intend to explore opportunities to apply their specialist expertise in technology, manufacturing and organisation to projects that meet the needs of the Polish Armed Forces and the authorities responsible for security and the protection of critical infrastructure.

The cooperation may encompass both the development and implementation of new solutions, as well as an analysis of the possibilities for their production and implementation within the national defence industry.

Another key area of planned activities will be to explore the possibilities for the joint commercialisation of the technologies being developed – both on the domestic market and on foreign markets.

The signed letter of intent marks the start of a process in which the parties will jointly analyse potential areas of cooperation and opportunities for future projects. The next steps will be taken by representatives of both organisations within joint working groups.

The signing of the document forms part of efforts aimed at strengthening the country’s technological and industrial potential and developing solutions of key importance from the point of view of national security.

The letter of intent between Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. and FIBRAIN Sp. z o.o., in the presence of PGZ S.A. Vice-President Piotr Zawieja, was signed by Dariusz Werschner, Deputy Director of the Drone and Aviation Projects Office at PGZ S.A., and Marcin Słowik, Vice-President of FIBRAIN Sp. z o.o.
