Sustainability

A message from the President of the FIBRAIN Group

I am pleased to present to you our next ESG Report. This document marks another important step in strengthening our sustainability strategy and confirms our responsible approach to conducting business. Since the beginning of FIBRAIN’s operations, we have been developing based on values that combine economic growth with care for the natural environment, society, and high standards of governance. For us, sustainability is not merely a regulatory obligation – it is a conscious choice and an integral part of our long-term vision.

In the environmental area, we continue to expand our commitment to renewable energy sources. As part of these efforts, we are continuing our investment in the construction of photovoltaic farms, aimed at supplying our production facilities with electricity generated in this way.

Moreover, we are intensively preparing to implement a project for a renewable hydrogen production installation along with the necessary infrastructure. This is a multi-year project, the implementation of which will enhance energy security and support the local community. We continuously raise employee awareness in the area of energy efficiency through regular training sessions.

All the above-mentioned actions and initiatives undertaken by FIBRAIN are part of the energy transition programme and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In the social area, we attach great importance to building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders of FIBRAIN. We support local communities and promote sports activities and education. We are the main sponsor and shareholder of the first-league football club Stal Rzeszów S.A., the Stal Rzeszów Academy, the title sponsor of the table tennis section FIBRAIN AZS Politechnika Rzeszów, and a sponsor of Łukasz Różański, a boxer associated with Stal Rzeszów, who won the WBC World Championship belt in the bridgerweight category in 2023. As part of the sports club, we also run the Stal Sports Championship School – both a primary and secondary school – as well as the Stal Rzeszów Dormitory.

Our key stakeholders are our employees, who build the strength and recognition of the FIBRAIN Group. In 2024, our priority was to ensure safe and healthy working conditions, while continuously raising employee awareness through additional training. We also strive to further develop employees’ qualifications and fully utilise their potential by offering development opportunities within their roles. At the same time, we focus on employee well-being and job satisfaction.

It is also very important for us to promote a healthy and active lifestyle by providing employees with access to private healthcare and sports cards. We are continuously expanding our offer in this area. Supporting young talent is also part of our mission, which is why we actively cooperate with schools and universities.

In the area of corporate governance, we pay particular attention to the transparency of our business relationships, which form the foundation for building mutual trust. Therefore, we continuously implement and monitor relevant strategic documents, such as policies, regulations, and codes of conduct.

Our company is already effectively responding to the growing ESG requirements. Our goal is to create value for the FIBRAIN Group based on reliable business partners, environmental responsibility, and social trust. In this spirit, we will continue to consistently implement our business strategy and transparently report on its progress, as reflected in this ESG Report.

You are cordially invited to read the summary of the non-financial aspects of FIBRAIN Sp. z o.o.’s operations in 2024.
