FIBRAIN is implementing the project “Implementation of innovative fiber optic cables with smaller diameters and higher strength parameters” under the sub-measure 3.2.1 Research for the market of the Intelligent Development Operational Program, 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Union.
The aim of the project is to implement new types of fiber optic cables with reduced diameter with increased strength parameters as a result of R&D works carried out by the Applicant.
As a result of the project implementation, 4 product innovations regarding new types of fiber optic cables: MK-LX microcable, BDC – MSA duct cable, self-supporting suspended cable ADSS 4 kN and cable with central FTTA DAC tube.
Total project value: PLN 37,374,780.00
Contribution of European Funds: PLN 18,191,100.00 FIBRAIN also launched the project “FI-SEQUR Semiconductor single photon source for secure fiber-optic quantum communication in the 1.3qm range”. The aim of the project is to create a portable single photon source for secure communication.
