Fibrain FMU-AMA12G-85S-55M-E converter is an ideal choice for Ethernet users who want to extend the maximum data transmission length. Converter can work with multi mode fiber optic cables. Electrical port support transmission speed of 10/100/1000 Mb/s with autonegotiation and can determine cable type. Converter can be installed in Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet networks, works in store-and-forward mode and passes VLAN tagged frames and JumboFrames up to 9kB. Using high quality multi mode optical transceivers allows to set up a link with maximum length of 550m.
External power supply assures reliability and makes maintenance easier. Converter can operate in 2U 19″ rack chassis for 16 devices with redundant power supply.
