V1-16XC-E is an XGS-GPON OLT with 18 XGS-PON/GPON ports as well as uplink ports: 4x 25GBase-R (SFP28) and 2x 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ45). This OLT consolidates traffic originating from subscribers and sends it upstream in the network. The XGS-PON/GPON technology introduces new features that enhance performance and interoperability, providing support for new applications, services, and service scenarios. The Dasan XGS-PON/GPON OLT enables higher speeds and network diagnostics.
The V1-16XC-E introduces a point-to-multipoint connection concept based on XGS-GPON technology, allowing for more cost-effective services with symmetrical 10Gb bandwidth. Replacing passive switches with splitters helps reduce network operational costs.
The OLT features active cooling and a built-in dual DC power supply. It allows for the connection of one or two power supplies (with one as a backup), and in the event of a power failure on the active supply, it switches to the backup without powering down the device. Additionally, it has a compact 1RU form factor with a depth of 240mm, suitable for installation in ETSI racks.
