Why to choose Fibrain, not equipment vendors modules?
There are certain similarities between SFP business and ink or toners, or spare parts for car. You can purchase “exactly” same product but with lower price. Equipment vendors in most cases subcontract or OEM their modules from manufactures and later on sell them with high margin. Except the code in EEPROM there is no difference between Fibrain or branded modules by equipment manufacturers.
Furthermore many equipment vendors don’t offer full portfolio of SFP/SFP+/XFP for every distance or xWDM technology.

We present the FIBRAIN series of industrial switches, combining reliability, performance, and advanced management features to provide solid support for demanding industrial environments. These managed PoE switches offer 4/8/16 10/100/1000-T PoE ports and 2/4 1000/2500Base-X ports with fiber interfaces, enabling flexible connections with various devices.
The FIBRAIN switch complies with IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at standards, supporting the PoE+ protocol, which allows network devices to be powered via a single Ethernet cable, delivering up to 30W of power per port. With ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) functionality, these switches enable the creation of a redundant ring topology, ensuring network continuity even in the event of a connection failure. Additionally, the automatic failure recovery mechanism operates in under 20 ms, guaranteeing minimal downtime under full load.
